I love shooting architecture but it is always notoriously difficult without tilt-shift lenses. I knew that this church steeple in Burlington, Vermont would looked tipped back in the final image but I went ahead and shot it anyways. I used that distortion to my advantage and liked how the steeple fell back into the image. The building’s structure is quite amazing in design and every once in a while I shoot a few images of it. I tried this shot at the minus 1 setting of exposure compensation and it came out of course on the darker side. Still though the bold lines and deep shadows on the church made for an interesting image.
