Forgotten Doll

Canon 7d/ Canon EF 50mm F1.8 lens Cokin 2 stop graduated Neutral density filter. ISO 100 50mm F 16 @ 1/25

This is kind of weird and creepy one! I was out in the cold last weekend looking for some subjects to do some long exposure shots when I came across this forgotten doll on a piece of driftwood. Its amazing what washes up on the shores of the lake when the winter ice starts melting.

While I was shooting this doll I just wondered about its history and why someone would just leave this here or throw it away. It made an interesting subject anyways…Processed in Lightroom 3, Photomatix Pro 4 and Focal Point 2.
