Finally got out this past weekend to do some quality work with the Lee Big Stopper. I love this filter and the long exposures you can get with it during the daytime hours. These storm clouds rolled in and I saw a great opportunity to get out and work with it.
The Lighthouse you see here sits on a breakwater in Lake Champlain. As you can see the Spring runoff and snow melt have completely submerged the breakwater and it looked as if the lighthouse was floating out the on the lake! The clouds I think added a little drama to the image as well. This image was processed in Lightroom 3 and Nik Silver Efex Pro.
