Camera Phone Thursday: The Warehouse

Image made with a HTC Droid Incredible 8mp camera phone. Processed in Lightroom 3. Nik Silver Efex Pro and Focal Point 2.

Today we have a typical warehouse scene with a brick building and a tiny bit of sky in the background. I was looking more at the perspective of the building than anything else and I tried to capture the near to far feel of the structure. More and more I really like these smart phone images in black and white instead of color. This one though like last weeks image I wanted it to have an antique feel to it.

Pretty simple processing on this one… The lightroom settings were: Exposure: +.12, Clarity: +80, medium contrast, Sharpening: amount and detail set to 30, Noise reduction: 30. I also added a slight vignette to the image but in the light direction rather than dark to age the image and give it just a tiny light leak effect. The highlights were tinted with little bit of yellow color. Film grain settings were all at 50.

In Silver Efex Pro I used the High Structure preset with a red filter.

In Focal Point 2 I added a round focus bug to blur and exaggerate the background. I bloomed out the highlights to 575.
