Fort Williams park and lighthouse. Cape Elizabeth, Maine.

Well friends, Today was our last full day here in Maine and what a landscape we went to today! About fifteen minutes outside of Portland over the Casco bay bridge is Fort Williams park and lighthouse right on the coast. Fort williams is a working lighthouse maintained by the townspeople which is free and open to the public.
There was a ton of people so it took me a little bit of scrambling around the coastline to find a good view of the lighthouse but I think I managed allright. The above smartphone image is a ways off but I liked the coastline here and I got some nice long exposures here. We almost were not going to come here being a little pooped from our trip but we were not disappointed by the spectacular view!

  1. I have just started a blog and am using a point and shot camera for all the photos that I include. I told my husband that I need a better camera. I can never let him see this photo from a smart phone. It must be the photographer not the equipment.
